Goonies 2?

No only kidding! It is very doubtful that there would be a sequel to the Goonies and i think its best that way, it was an amazing film from my Childhood. A sequel really couldn't work for many reasons like what would they be looking for?, what would link them still together?, would it be about there Kids. Chunk has definitely lost his appeal! There would be no Chuffle Shuffle or being badly dressed. Jeff Cohen has really slimmed down and quite frankly looks normal. Sloth on the other hand is prob way too old for lifting people up! And it wouldn't be the same without Anne Ramsey (Sloth's Mother Mama Fratelli). Anyway Empire Got the whole Crew together including Steven Spielberg for the photo Shoot (Shown Above) So i should say thanks for stealing their picture (Thank you!). New Manic Street Preachers Album out 18th May - Journal for Plague Lovers

With the new album out on the 18th May entitled Journal for Plague Lovers can we finally say its a new Manics Album that we can love a
gain? For me the last best album was the Holy Bible, Richey Edwards was an incredibly gifted Poet and James Dean Bradfield had an incredible pair of shoes to fill. Yes his songs were catchy but they were incredibly commercial, they lacked the anger, the politicalism, they just didn't have the energy of Richey's Songs. I'm hoping by going back to Richey's Musicless Lyrics it has inspired them with the confidence to Rock out again! I leave you with the lyrics to my Favourite Manics Song. Let me know your comments.

Daft Punk Score Soundtrack for new Tr2n Movie!

Wow! i know this isn't exactly new news! But i for one am incredibly excited at the very prospect of this movie! Considering its going to be the most expensive movie ever made! $300 Million Dollars and Daft Punk are doing the Soundtrack! I have one question to ask though? Is the new Tr2n Movie going to be 3D? Because if it is then it is going to definitely be the best movie ever made! Let me Know your comments.

Pirate Bay Founders Sent to Jail for 12 Months

So the Founders have been sent to jail and fined a minuscule amount of money $4.5 Million (in terms of what people have been able to download), yet they have failed to have the website shut down? When will the Music Industry wake up and realise its time for a new business model? Is it because it is ruled by Dinosaurs? Do they not realise that people do not want to pay for Music anymore? I would prefer to either have an Ad supported system or buy a license for a £100 a year enabling me to download and keep everything. Alternatively why not charge a little more for Live Venue Tickets. Ticket touts have already driven the cost up why not try and get rid of them and charge a bit more? I would really like to know what the costs are for supplying music over the Web? Surely it cant be as much as a Cd? let me know your comments.

Update Ghostbusters 3

Dan Ackroyd has confirmed that Ernie Hudson will be in the Movie along with Sigourney Weaver. The Story will centre on training a new Generation of Ghostcatchers (More Ghostbusters films then...) and that they will be led by an individual who we will all love! (in that case its def not Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller) and the Story will be about travelling to different dimensions (perhaps including some of the details from the Original Ghostbusters in Hell idea?) Anyway thanks to Digital Spy for the lowdown.

Ghostbusters 3 and Video Game

With the Video Game being released on 19th June (see Amazon) and a Blu ray release of the Original Ghostbusters film on 15th June (seems odd releasing 4 days apart?). The Hype surrounding the 3rd Movie has never seen so much momentum. IMDB has it at being up by 68% in popularity this week. Why are we always looking at remakes or sequels to films that we loved from our Childhoods? Isn't that where they should stay? We have already had Star Wars virtually ruined by George Lucas's Prequels. Will it be the same seeing 4 fat old men running after Ghosts? There is no confirmation from Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore) that he will be in the Third instalment, i also think there will be no Lois Tully (Rick Moranis) as he retired from Showbiz to raise his kids. Is Sony Quality Checking the Games on the PS3?

Without a doubt Fallout 3 is one of the best games on any console. Problem is the PS3 version has so many bugs and faults it feels like an unfinished product? No doubt they were on a tight schedule to get the game released, but surely its better to get it right then release it with all its faults. I personally love the game. Let me know your comments.

Is Itunes now too Expensive?

Apples new three tier pricing system went into force yesterday with downloads now costing £0.59, £0.79 or £0.99 per track. Has Itunes committed Suicide by agreeing to the Record Labels demands? With other MP3 sites reducing their costs (Amazon selling Lady Gaga song £0.29) can Apple compete in the Market? At least purchases from Apple are now DRM free? record labels has stated that they believe the price of a song should reflect how much buyers are willing to pay for it, hoping that it will make music sales more profitable? Surely by increasing the price for digital downloads they are encouraging people to illegally download? Let me know your comments.

Microsoft Zune Coming to UK?

The Zune has been out in America for quite a while now and Microsoft have announced a refreshment to the range this year. Its all well and good but will it ever be released in the UK? Does it stand a chance against the Ipod in the UK? Let me know your comments.

Sony PS3 Software Updates

Does anyone think that the updates we are currently being provided with are a little lame? for example why do we need the ability to text chat whilst playing? i mean surely your too busy to type when your shooting things up? Doesn't the Xbox 360 have voice chat during gaming? I was very happy to see additional codecs meaning items that were once not recognised are now supported. Let me know your comments.

Sky 3DTV

Sky successfully broadcasted a Keane gig at Abbey Road to a 46 inch high def 3D capable television (I wonder how much that tele cost). Does anyone think that this will be the future? or is 3D a travel sick gimmick? Let me know your comments.
